Pinar Yolacan
Boro, Apr 2009

curated by Ana Finel Honigman

Lambda print
20 x 18 inches
Edition of 50 + 10 A.P.

I like this image because it looks like it is mistakenly processed in Cyan. With the patchwork looking top, I was going for old Japanese “boro” indigo textiles and also I like how it looks like broken pieces of china, that are glued together. The figure is supposed to resemble a sculpture, an archeological find/object. – Pinar Yolacan, 2009
